Brett Bonomo

Brett Bonomo is the Central States Regional Manager at Exalt Communications. As a seasoned microwave communications professional, Brett has over 10 years of field, product management, and sales experience in the microwave industry with strong community ties as an amateur radio operator.
Early in his career Brett assisted in the creation and design of one of the nation’s first and largest wireless Internet service providers. Since then he has held Senior System Engineering and Product Management roles at Western Multiplex and Proxim Corporation, providing complex microwave backhaul design and comprehensive interference analysis and mitigation.
He has been involved in the design and deployment of literally thousands of microwave paths in all kinds of environments, and has extensive application experience with utility and critical infrastructure companies.
He recently contributed to the design and distribution of a portable and cost-effective power meter used to better engineer microwave links in license-exempt frequency bands.
Brett holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology from Purdue University. He is a firefighter in his hometown of Castle Rock, CO and enjoys driving with his wife and dogs to hard-to-get places in his Pinzgauer, an ex-Swiss military vehicle.
