Senior VP, Strategic Projects - TWACS by DCSI - Distribution Control Systems, Inc.

Bob joined DCSI in 1986 as manager of the engineering department that develops TWACS ® products. He moved to DCSI ’s marketing department in 1997, and advanced to head up DCSI ’s New Business Development group. Recently, Bob took on responsibility for non-traditional approaches to expansion of DCSI ’s solution set as the company’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Projects. During his tenure at DCSI , the company has grown from a relatively small player in Automatic Meter Reading into the industry leader of Advanced Metering and two-way Load Control systems, with a rapidly growing customer base and accelerating revenue growth. Bob grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, earning his BS in Electrical Engineering at Carnegie-Mellon University in 1976. Bob’s entire career has been devoted to the utility industry, first at Westinghouse Electric Corporation, developing SCADA /EMS systems, and later at McGraw-Edison Power Systems, now a unit of Cooper, developing Distribution Automation and Demand-Side Management systems.
